Living My Best Life

“Living my best life” is a saying we use among our peers, that indicates things are good. The Urban Dictionary defines it as living under the conditions you consider to be ideal for you, or that you're at least satisfied with your progress towards meeting said conditions. Have you used this saying? Did you mean it when you spoke it? Do you feel you are living your best life? Are you waiting for something great to happen to make you feel that you are?

Today, God desires to challenge you to live your God-life. A God life? Yes, God has called you to live an “ABUNDANT LIFE”, not a life predicated on circumstances, emotions, finances but one that totally rest on His promise and your willingness to have faith in him.

You must always be aware of the enemy, he desires you to live everything except the abundant life. He wants to make sure your circumstances, delayed dreams, emotions, and finances stay at the forefront of everything in life, while he whispers “surely you are not living the abundant life--are you?” God is so good, in John 10:10 Jesus alerts us to the schemes of Satan and reminds us of why he came. “The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy. I came that you may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” AMP

Jesus said, “I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” The abundant life is not about material things but it is about knowing you are in a relationship with God and he is the center of your all. He owns it all and controls it all - your spirit man has to agree with the Word. By faith, you can decree “I am living the abundant life!”

Prayer: Forgive me, God, I will no longer look at my circumstances, or others and think I am living less than. God open my eyes so that I will see the many blessings and abundance in my life. I will fill my heart with gratefulness and thankfulness. By the fruit of my lips, I thank you for everything you have done and will do in Jesus name. God, I receive the abundant life you have promised me. I will rest in this promise because it is ALL YOURS.
