We are 54 days away from the last day of the year and 55 days away from the start of a new year. Hello, 2022! When you reflect on 2021, what will your reflection remind you of?
From 2020 to 2021, it has been a ride for all of us. Is there something in you saying I desire for 2022 to be different than all the years prior? I know as a woman, wife, and mother I thought I was going to be crushed under the pressure, but God. However, in December 2020, something aroused in me and I made a conscious decision to do better and be better. All while so much uncertainty swirled around my head like bees on a sweet-smelling rose bush. I was tired of the inconsistency my life was producing and tired of excuses regardless of how legit they were. I felt something take hold of me from the soul of my existence and my spirit bore witness.
I knew then something good was coming out of 2021. I do not believe in resolutions but I believed in the plan God has concerning me according to his word. I landed in Galatians 5:22-23; “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law.”
God had me to start with him, which therein lies life, success and without him produces inconsistency. However, there was one thing missing, others. I wanted this experience to be a solo adventure, so all I had to count on was myself. Holy Spirit spoke and reminded me he did not call me to be an island, but for community and fellowship. Now, I did attempt to debate and reason with him, but out of obedience, I extended an invitation to others.
The Ambassadors of Living a Kairos Moment accepted the invitation and PULLED UP! This invitation birthed the Coffee, Vision, and Mission of Living a Kairos Moment. We meet the first Saturday of every month to discuss the three fruits we believed God led us to focus on individually, which we were able to break down into ambitions. We have grown and accomplished great advances TOGETHER this year!
5 Days in waiting to witness women winning together, It’s Time, To Pull Up! We have one vision with Living a Kairos Moment (LAKM), ‘To see women winning in life.’ Determined to fulfill the mission of LAKM, “The ability through divine assignment to recognize the season and time you are in to execute dreams, passions, and desires. Acknowledging all moments in the timing of God while birthing purpose. “
